The Philippine Financial Summit (PFS) 2018 is the flagship event of UP JFA’s Investment Month 2018. The summit focuses on gathering and empowering students and young professionals from the most outstanding organizations in the Philippines. This year’s focus is on making finance more inclusive in order to reach a wider range of people and help them appreciate and understand the role of finance in their lives.
Last February 24, PFS 2018 Davao, the first out of four summit chapters, was held in the SMX Convention Center in Davao City, with almost 300 young people from all over Davao and Zamboanga attending the event.
The Summit featured a series of talks from key figures in the field of business and finance to inspire the youth, and encourage them to act towards inclusive growth and sustainable development through finance. One of the speakers was the esteemed Mr. Conrado Bate, the Chief Executive Officer, President, and Director of COL Financial Group, Inc., who gave a talk entitled “10 Habits of a Happy Investor”.
